Craig West

Craig West, an integral part of Sault Ste. Marie's music landscape, began his musical journey with piano and woodwinds before discovering a deep passion for rock music and bass guitar in his teens. Over the years, he has played with several local bands most notably, Startlefish, the Chris Belsito Band, Spiderback, and Machines Dream, the latter achieving international recognition. A staunch advocate for original local music, Craig has contributed to the development of music events in the area as well as producing and mixing albums for artists, both locally and internationally. At Case's Music, he shares his diverse expertise by teaching bass, guitar, ukulele, and computer recording, fostering the next generation of musicians with his experience and dedication to the craft.
